We can definitely see a new trend of menswear on streets in Japan.

As accessories, Keys should be stylish enough and coordinate with the whole look well. It is vital to consider the proper number of keys, and what's more, keep them clean. 

Using a key ring or a piece of leather to make a set, simple but suitable. As I see it, vintage may be a smart choice for a dandy.

Art Deco or Hard Deco?

Art Deco reached across every form of creative endeavor including painting, jewellery, fashion, industrial design, graphic design, film, architecture, automotive design, photography and furniture. 

On 28 June 2008 the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) opened the most comprehensive exhibition ever staged on one of the most glamorous and popular of all artistic styles. Art Deco 1910–1939 came exclusively to Melbourne from London’s famed Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) and was the fifth exhibition in the Melbourne Winter Masterpieces series at the NGV. 


Organised by the V&A, the exhibition captured the spirit of the Art Deco period by combining important masterworks from the V&A’s acclaimed collection with public and private works from around the world.

Avedon left Vogue in 1988 and joined The New Yorker in 1992 as the magazine’s first staff photographer. In addition to portraiture, he did occasional studio sessions featuring the latest contemporary fashions. 

In this photograph, he presents the couture creations of John Galliano as evidence of the more romantic and theatrical side of fashion that emerged at the end of the 20th century. In this photograph, his designs are paired on two models, one in a finely tailored black jacket and another in a long lush evening wrap. Both pieces featured art deco-inspired prints that emphasize the models dramatic silhouettes as skillfully portrayed by Avedon in this composition.

西瓜すいか

すいか，是每年夏天都要重温的日剧。 

这部于2003年7月由日本NTV电视台放送的剧集，堪称本人最爱日剧TOP 1。

最让我在意的，是位于东京三轩茶屋的这栋旧式别墅。我常独自遐想，每年夏季抽空去“Happiness三茶”度过几天悠闲的日子，大概没有比这更惬意的事情了。

夏日微风与冰镇啤酒，清爽的早餐与整洁的和室，同住者间或深或浅的牵绊，处世哲学与人生理想······日子就这样一天天过去。

早餐时分，大家往往聚在一起，互相传阅着报纸，最后留下一颗梅核在碗底。

住的话，想要挑教授这一间。夏天泛白的阳光，看得到院子的窗户，满室书卷，摇头的风扇，什么都齐了。

Floppy Disk Art

Each floppy disk used in Nick Gentry’s paintings has a history and story of its own. It represents the increasing pace of the modern life cycle, where objects are created, used and disposed of quicker than ever.

 "To challenge this notion, as these personal artifacts of life are cast aside, the obsolete are now given new life and a renewed purpose by using them as a medium for art."

I am deeply moved by the "Color", "Sunshine" and "Smile".

I like the lightness and saturation in the left pic, and as for the right one, it is my favorite look.

Bill Cunningham started conducting "On the Street" for The New York Times from 1978.

I like a video very much which was shot in December 2009. Take a look at menswear in NYC just before they put on their winter coats.

如果真有凭COVER来决定购买杂志这回事，那么对我来说，这期五月刊绝对是个力证。

“THE SEX ISSUE”的名号一度令我误以为它来自英伦，结果发现产地竟是NYC。特别拿这期出来的原因，是其封面于精致艺术中糅杂了些许商业化倾向，与以往totally一派前卫、先锋、迷幻放纵的风格相比已是全然不同的观感。

Whatever，这个演绎实在够型。

When I cleared up my files a few days earlier, I found out this snap of a lovely couple, a little bit punk wild, a little bit religionary.
I appreciate their using a large area of pure colors with some surprises in details, and the result can be chic and elegant.
